Q: What does everyone think of the Volvo SUV?
Does anyone have this SUV? What do you think of it? I was thinking about it? I am a mom with kids who is looking for a good sporty SUV with good handling.
A: Very sharp and very safe. I just wish I could afford it.
Q: where can I find a volvo suv for a good deal?
A: Good luck. Even the first model xc90 (2003) with 60k plus is going for over 20k. Buyer beware, the first model had a lot of kinks in it.
Q: I think that the Volvo SUV/van vehicle looks really awesome. I want one! Does anyone know much about these?
I have owved a Volvo 240 for 12 years and it has been a great car and still runs really well. I saw new (?) Volvo and I really like it. Are they super expensive?
A: The Volvo XC90 was Motor Trend 2003 Motor Trend Sport Utility of the Year (or it might have been 2004)
It was offered originally in 2.5T and T6 trims, with the T6 providing a more powerful engine than the 2.5T.
Volvo added a 4.4L Yamaha V8 for 2005, and the T6 was dropped for 2006.
The XC90 carries a base price of approximately $37,000 MSRP and can go to as high as $60,000 MSRP for a fully loaded V8 I believe.
Be aware- the XC90's fuel economy isn't great.
Q: Which is better Volvo suv or Range Rover ?
A: Both are good. Buy either one and Ford will be pleased.
Q: Where can I find a SUV Volvo?
A: Volvo dealer
Q: Whitch is better: a Volvo SUV or the BMW X5?
A: Well since you and your fiance are looking to buy an SUV when both of you become parents I would go for the Volvo XC90. Volvo itself is known to be the safest car company in the world so you little baby will be safe. It has many features and is a good car. It is true that it is owned by Ford, but Ford doesn't manufacture them they just own the company. The BMW X5 is a very nice car. I've always liked them but I really think it is more like a car because it's smaller than the Volvo and more like a sports car type SUV. So my pick would be to get a Volvo because you know the safety is always going to be their for your new family. Hope I helped answer your question. Click on the source to get more information on the Volvo XC90 and BMW X5. I also know this wasn't what you guys are looking for but you might also want to consider the Volkswagen Touareg, its a very nice SUV that competes with the other SUVs and it is also very safe. Its kinda like a mixture of the both i think.
Q: I have a VOLVO SUV. When should I replace the tires and what tires shld I buy. Came w/Michelin 235/65 R17?
A: First inspect your tires. Is there inside or outside shoulder wear? Meaning do the side treads have less than the innermost tread? If you look between the treads, there are small raised pieces of rubber called wear bars. If your tread is close to this raised piece, you are due. I recommend an alignment check as well.
As far as sticking with brand, I prefer Michelin myself. That size is offered in Pirelli, Goodyear, BF Goodrich, & Kuhmo. With Michelin you are getting best quality for your money.
Do you have Michelin MXV4, Cross Terrains, or LTX?
Q: can I use E85 in my '03 Volvo SUV?
A: in the owners manual on fuel recommendations it states that "E85"is ok to use but not to use anything with a higher alcohol content.
note having delt with this in the early 80's i found that fuel filters would clog perhaps a couple of times before the fuel system "cleaned itself out" with the alcohol mix. then everything would stay pretty good, as long as regular service was done.
Q: song in new volvo suv commercial?
what is it!
A: Melpo Mene " I adore You"
Q: where is the horn located on a Volvo XC90 SUV?
A: lower left side of your engine bay. Difficult to remove. If your horn is not working, check the fuse first. That is 99% of the problems.
Q: Looking for feedback on the Volvo XC90 (SUV)?
I'm thiking about getting one - I have 1 1/2 year old twin boys. Any opinions about them? Thanks in advance.
A: I have one (2006 model) and I bought it because I just became a mom. I use the big Britax car seat - and it fits well in the back. Since you have 2 little ones, you shouldnt have any problem putting 2 car seats back there. I would reccommend getting the front/rear park assist sensors if you can. My previous car was a Jaguar S-Type, which had those sensors and I got spoiled with them. The height of the Volvo is nice - not too low and not too high. There is even a tiny tailgate in the back that could be hlepful when loading up the strollers and gear. I was rear-ended with 2 impacts while driving it - and no one was hurt. I felt like I was in a giant safe! While my Volvo was in the repair shop - I ended up with several other small SUVs as rentals. I can honestly say that I got depressed while driving these other SUVs and could not wait to get my Volvo XC90 back!!
Q: Volvo XC 90 SUV problem
1.When i press on the accelerator to the end of the floor board, I am not able to speed up and the rev meter remains the unchangedd ie: 1.8RPM, it happen occasionally only.
2. My engine was automatically switched off on one occasion when i was travel ling at 20km/h ( turning into a Small road) of course, i lost control of the car who is still moving slowly, (car became very heavy, in possible to turn steering wheel).I immediately restart the car (while still moving) and continue driving.
Please help, volvo mechanic cannot solve the problem.
Torey
A: suspect possible electronic throttle problem [there have been updates for software for various models] and actual failure of throttle bodies and accelerator pedals are not unheard of.
note while these[and many other vehicles] require A LOT of effort to steer when the engine dies or the drive belt snaps they can be managed.[ practicing in an empty parking lot, coasting with the engine off will afford you the experiance of steering and brakeing without power assistance, the effoets involved will be eye opening and muscle burning. [at least you will know what to expect in an emergancy]
Q: What song is it that plays on the new volvo commeercial?
Sounds like an old 60's song but maybe not -- I think its for the Volvo SUV maybe infinity, but I think volvo.
A: If you mean the music in the advert of this link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=becNneZd-HI then it's "I Gotta Move" by The Kinks.
Q: dose anybody have any problems with trans on a 2005 Volvo xc 90 suv mine went out at 80,000 miles.?
A: If your xc90 isa 5 cylinder that is very unusual.BUT if you have a 6 cylinder, not too uncommon. The 6 cylinder xc90 uses a GM transmission, not too bad but I would take the aisin-warner trans (used in volvos for decades) over the gm trans.
The left axle sometimes kills the trans, where a cap that blocks the axle grease from mixing with trans fluid fails and the fluids mix and wrecks the trans. Not always the case with the axle, these trans aren't as reliable as the aisin -warner.Volvo stopped using the gm trans in 07, all are now equiped with the aisin-warner.
Q: 3-of10. Thinking of getting a new car. Volvo wagon or SUV?
