Hey, Im in need of a few mazda parts and was wondering if anyone in Australia could tell me where i can pick these up cheap. And please dont say wreckers cos its actually pretty hard finding this model... Its a Mazda 323 1991 sedan BG

Q: Where can I find aftermarket 1990 Mazda 626 Parts?
I am re-building my 1990 Mazda 626 and need to find an aftermarket source for interior parts, body decals... and does anyone know of a source for re-finishing the various nameplates, etc on the car???
A: For the refinishing of the name plates and "trim" items look at the Hemmings Motor News site.
Body decals will be a problem, but there may be some one in Hemmings that can make them for you.
The interior parts will be the trick, on this you may have to be happy with used until someone goes into the business for them. Which I doubt they will. So try the local salvage yards or car-part.com (there are others but I use this one).

like i know when u go to ford.com u see mazda with them so is mazda japense. so for example the parts are japense but assmbelyed in the us for help me pleae
A: Of all Mazda's models currently on the US market only Tribute and Mazda 6 are manufactured in the USA.
Mazda 6 available in Europe is Made in Japan - as is most of Mazda 6 cars.
Today it's almost impossible to track the parts down to the last screw. Many parts are generic and may be manufactured anywhere, in the US, Mexico, China, Europe... The same part for the same model can be manufactured at different locations - depending where it's cheaper from the logistics point of view.
Another thing is parts sharing within Ford. Automatic transmissions in Mazda and Ford are developed and maufactured by Aisin AW (they also designed Lexus's 8 speed auto box). This company is one of the largest automotive parts producer in the world. Aisin AW is Japanese company.
Mazda 3 shares the platform (chassis and some other stuff) with Volvo C30, S40 and V40, and European Ford Focus. All Ford's Duratec i4 engines are in fact Mazda's MZR engines.
Even other manufacturers are involved. For example, the electronics in my Mazda 3 is made by Mitsubishi. Ford used to use electronics made by Siemens in Europe.
Nissan and Honda make cars in UK, but almost nothing is actually produced locally. I'd assume that's the thing with Mazda in the US.
Mazda is Japanese company to the very core, Ford owns about 34 percent, Mazda cars are designed in Japan, great majority is Made in Japan.

i know there are not alot of aftermarket parts for the mazda mx3 but i could use some help looking. so if any one can help that would be great. Im mostly interested in looking for a new intake, and muffler. but any else would also be good. And if they are cheap that would be a big plus. Thanks

Q: Can I buy ford body parts for my 93 mazda b3000?
I have heard that some of the parts for the 93+ mazda b3000 pickups are interchangeable with the ford rangers of the corresponding year. I know the engines and trannies are identical, but how much of the body is the same? i want to change the grill and bumper and put a lift kit. Anyone know anything?
A: Ford Rangers and Mazda B series are the same truck, Everything fits. Bed style and grille may be a little different design but they will interchange.

Just like a relative idea, If to say I was in a wreck or something or a part went bad and I needed to replace it.
A: With the Miata being the best selling 2 seat convertible ever sold, their following is still going strong and plenty of parts suppliers exist.
Also, the Miata is one of Mazda's most reliable vehicles so 120k on the odometer isn't too high for that car. Count on spending a few hundred for a new top as that is typically what goes first. Take a look on Miata.net for a ton of good info.

I have a 1994 Mazda 323 and recently found parts from a 1990 Mazda 323. I want to know if the seats (driver/passenger and rear bench) as well as the headliner from the 1990 Mazda 323 will fit my 1994 Mazda 323?
A: best way to see if the seats are interchangeable would be to measure the brackets that bolt them to the floor and were the holes in it are, As for the headliner measure it, But i doubt it would because it would be a different size/Shape
