A: on the factory dvd system all the remotes use the same frequency. so no programming needed. if it doesn't work and you have replaced the remote then there is a problem with the dvd player itself.

i'm looking to buy a family car. both cost around the same price range, but i am leaning towards a Navigator more, just becuase it's been one of my top favorites for the past 5 years. but i keep hearing there might be a lot of things that may go wrong that i will have to fix a lot of compared to the MDX. I like the Navigator because it's bigger and looks more like an SUV, to me the MDX looks like a more compact minivan or a bigger wagon..but Acura's are nice i heard. Everyone i know who owns an Acura is satisfied and happy, but i don't know. will a Navigator break down that much...and isn't the milage about the same. Any thougts on both much appreciated. thank you.
A: I would get the MDX. Acuras are pretty reliable and the MDX probably gets better mileage than the Navigator. I also think the MDX is a lot safer and easier to park.

a new Honda pilot will be ok too. what do you think? i've wanted a navigator since 2001, now a baby is on the way, and i'm trying to be reasonable, but if we buy a used 2003-2005 navigator, it will be like buying a new 2007 Pilot--cost wise...and i like the navigator b/c it has more room, it's bigger, and just looks nicer in my opinion, but the milage isn't that great. But my thought is, i work 10 minutes away from home and my hubby works from home anyway, so when i go to work i can still drive one of the smaller cars and not the SUV. is this too unreasonable? should i just get the Pilot anyway? or another thought is the Toyota Highlander Hybrid...which has great milage but is only a 5 seater, i at lease want an 8 seater, that is why i don't really want the Highland Hybrid. I just want an 8 seater car that will last me the next 10 years, this is our first baby, but it's not like we won't be having anymroe..know what i mean..any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. thanks.
A: like the other guy said, the navigator has a bad repair history. what more if it's 2d hand. i used to like that car too because of the doors.... i think the pilot is better because i can tell you don't like the toyota. and..... if you really want the navigator, you should be the kind that can tell if a 2d hand car is in good shape and not just fixed to look good on the outside.

A: Please realize that you're parents are great! My first car was a Ford Escort priced waaaaay under 20K. so please be sure to show your appreciation. Now to answer your question, Acura TL without a doubt! I just traded my Mercedes CLK 320 for one. It is definitely a sports luxury car that I can keep up with my husband's BMW M3 in (on the interstate not the track). You will definitely get lots of attention from the ladies in this ride.

well, i currently have a 2004 mustang gt 5spd.
and i waste $70 a week just going to work and back in gas.
and also sometimes hearing the constant rumble on the freeway gets annoying and if there is traffic.... i am in for a long road trip home, (driving stick in traffic sucks)
so i decided to sell it and get another car.
now, i already have a second car but my fiance uses it to go to work so i cant go and get a brand new $40,000 car.
i have to look for a deal or bargin. well i narrowed it down to these things that i want in my car for sure.
1- luxuary- (mustang has leather so my next car is going to also)
2-four door automatic
3-needs to be atleast a mid-size sedan(no 4 dr bmw 3 series)
4- semi fuel efficient.
5- cant be a honda-ford-toyota-nissan-chevy- ect. ect. ect.
looking more along the lines of
a 2005-2007 cadillac sts
chrysler 300 c
mercedes c class-
2003-2006- lincoln navigator
i have seen a few of these models within my price range but is there any other cars that are in these cars bracket-
anybody got any suggestions on a car i should look at or into.
keep in mind that i know i wont find a car with all the things i listed but those are just some guidelines .

i still got the mustang- also i my girl has a four door honda accord already. i want to get a luxury car, not a minivan- also we are not having kids anytime soon.
and as for missing the performance and not knowing what i was getting myselft into,
i had nothing but sports cars all my life, i just want something more comfortable for the long road trips
A: Ist of all You brought the mustang and didn't know what you were buying. A Performance car obviously wasn't for you. Your all over the place with your choices and every car you suggested have mechanical issues and poor value..your getting married..and probably looking at a family..you cant go wrong with a mini van , honda or toyota, It sounds like eventually your going to need more than one car, you should have kept the stang cause eventually your going 2 miss the Performance and just brought another vehicle
