Q: can a searay 260 sundancer be pulled by a 2002 lincoln navigator 4x4?

A: probably. your towing capacity is probably around 6500 lbs. look in your owners manual and then compare it to your boats weight.

Q: 2002 Lincoln Navigator?
Can some one please tell me how to turn on the back up sensor's. I just brought this vehicle and they either do not work or some one has turned them off. Thank You

A: The back-up sensing system is enabled any time the vehicle is in reverse. There is a switch on the dash to disable it according to the Owner's Guide. It only senses large objects and at speeds below 3 mph. Make sure the sensors are clean and not covered. Test it by putting the vehicle in reverse about 10 feet from your closed garage door and slowly back up to it. You should hear a beeping that gets faster as you get closer to the object. If it doesn't work, take it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair.

Q: I did not see the answer, but can my Navigator run on 87 octane without hurting it.?
2002 lincoln navigator

A: So your owner's manual tells you to use a higher octane? If so, run the lower octane until you get engine pinging noises or similar under acceleration. Then put a half tank of higher octane gas in it.

Q: Can I disconnect the air suspension on my SUV? I mean will there be any problems if I do?
I just bought a 2002 Lincoln Navigator and the air compressor comes on every 5 minutes and it is loud. Is this feature necessary and will it hurt to disconnect it?

A: if it comes on every 5 minutes it must have leak somwhere a fitting or shock/air bag or has a sensor problem. it is loud because it is toast from running excesively. if you disconnect it it may turn on a service message and rear of vehicle will sag and will have excessive wear and tear. i would guess these parts are dealer only and will probably be pretty expensive

Q: im looking to get a top of the line SUV and need help?
hi im looking at getting a Hummer H2 but im not sure how comfortable it is, it definetely looks great. I have a 2002 Lincoln Navigator and am getting rid of it soon. What other top of the line SUV's could i get?

A: A Lexus RX Hummer's are much too ostentatious looking.

Q: 2003 Lincoln Navigator or 2003 Cadillac Escalade?
For me it's the Lincoln Navigator, the Escalade has poor handling and it's exterior features to me are awkward, and the interior looks rough and not comfortable with ugly wood trim. The Navigator has great handling, the exterior is beautiful, and the interior is more modern and has a home feeling it adds lots of comfort, and it can haul a lot. I think between the battle of SUVs the Navigator is a clear winner. I am truly not being bias I just see it this way. The Escalade is really nice though, and I think the 2007 is better than the 2002-2006.

A: i think the navigator is a little better vehicle it has a few advantages over the Cadillac also, i have drove both these vehicles and would agree the navigator is a better vehicle, the only thing i have against the navigator its not as good on fuel as the escalade is,other than that it does a lot better, good luck hope this helps.

Q: I am buying a new car next month. What should I get? I am considering something from the list below.?
I now have a 2002 Lincoln Town Car and I am considering one of the following: Another Lincoln Town Car Jaguar Lincoln Navigator Rolls Royce Phantom Which would suit my personality best?

A: If I was you I would get the Rolls Royce Phantom! You work hard for your money, enjoy it!

Q: Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will be arraigned today ~see detail below ~?
on charges that he lied about 14,000 text messages he sent to Christine Beatty (who was also arrainged on the same charges) during 2002-2003. The text messages were made on a city issued pager and were "said to be" steamy and explicit about an affair the two of them had. It is not the affair that is in the forefront. It is misuse of the pager. Should he step down and admit wrongdoing? This is not his first scandal. In his first four years he was criticised for leasing a Lincoln Navigator with city funds for his wives use and for parties at his home that may have had strippers. Should he resign or not?

A: Its about what he did to cover them up that makes him a piece of crap.

Q: What should I do, I am so confused?
Our family drives a Lincoln Navigator, yes I know a gas guzzler, but we live in the country in texas, so I bought the vehicle due to living down a country gravel road ( a car gets pretty banged up drving down a gravel road) and when we go shopping we have to bulk buy so much, my husband and I have been aruging about selling the vehicle and just buying a station wagon a 98- 2002 to help out on gas, or should we hold on to our vehicle til gas prices come down? He seems to think just like in the seventies gas prices went sky high then in the 90's came back down. What would you do? How much longer do you think gas will stay this high? Or do you think this is the price we will be paying? Thank you so much for advice, I just need to hear others thoughs on this. Blessings

A: The gas price in the 70's was high because of the OPEC embargo, the price is high now because of a true supply / demand picture. No new discoveries are being made and the demand is rising, so don't expect prices to come down. (in fact expect them to increase) Did you notice last week with the US stock market tanking the Asian and European exchanges were going up? So any drop in demand in US will be more than offset by increased demand overseas.
